Bo Breguet.

BO BREGUET (rhymes with "reggae"), french contemporary painter in acrylics and mixed media, was born in the early fifties in the Loire Valley, France's horse, wine and château country. He is a direct descendant of an illustrious family of creators and inventors, notably Abraham-Louis Breguet, renowned Swiss watchmaker, and Louis Breguet, French aviation pioneer.

BO BREGUET has participated in over seventy personal and collective gallery exhibitions, art fairs and festivals in Paris, Florida, Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco, Mexico and France : Nice, Vence, Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Monte-Carlo.

His prizes include the Lutece Academy - Paris; the Pasco Festival of Fine Arts - Florida ; First Prize - the Festival of the Arts in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France ; UMAM (The Mediterranean Union for Modern Art, founded by Matisse and Bonnard in 1946) Nice; The Gustav Mossa Prize - Nice, France ; and «Record Cover Artist», St. Louis Music Festival - St. Louis, Missouri.

His collectors are international : from Paris to Marseille and throughout France, the Netherlands and on to Chicago, New Jersey, Florida, Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Mexico City and Vancouver. There’s even a BO in « Bo » (that’s Bolinas, California).

Charitable contributions are also to his credit, notably an exhibition and auction by Christie’s, Amsterdam, organized by ECHO (the European Community Humanitarian Office) and the Netherlands Red Cross, presided over by Emma Bonino (European Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs) and HRH Princess Margriet. For the event, BO’s painting was chosen for the catalogue cover.

And in 2002/2003, Bo's art once again crossed the Atlantic for a three-month show at the LEEPA-RATTNER MUSEUM OF ART near Tampa, Florida.
